On July 27, 2023, Prime Minister Kishida visited Fukuoka Prefecture.
 
Prime Minister Kishida visited the site where debris flows occurred and the Edamitsu Upstream Drainage Pump Station in Kurume City. The Prime Minister then visited the facility of the Fukuoka Growth Next in Fukuoka City, received a briefing on the implementation experience of digital transformation (DX) measures, and experienced the implementation, followed by a policy dialogue on digital transformation. At the end of the visit, the Prime Minister spoke to the press regarding his visit to Fukuoka Prefecture and other matters.
