On March 21, 2023 (local time), Prime Minister Kishida visited Kyiv in Ukraine.
Prime Minister Kishida laid flowers and observed the progress in recovery in Bucha. Then, he observed how the generators, which the Government of Japan has provided as winterization support, are being utilized.
After offering flowers to the victims at a memorial for the war dead in Kyiv, the Prime Minister held a summit meeting, a joint statement signing ceremony, and a joint press conference with H.E. Mr. Volodymyr Zelenskyy, President of Ukraine.
