Council of New Form of Capitalism Realization

On October 4, 2022, Prime Minister Kishida held the tenth meeting of the Council of New Form of Capitalism Realization at the Prime Minister’s Office.
At the meeting, the participants discussed a draft on priority issues in a comprehensive economic package regarding the implementation of the “Grand Design and Action Plan for a New Form of Capitalism” as well as the reinforcement of measures to enable the passing-on of costs and to support small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in response to an increase in wages and minimum wages.
