TICAD 8 - First Day -

 
On August 27, 2022, Prime Minister Kishida attended the Eighth Tokyo International Conference on African Development (TICAD8) held in Tunisia by video conference from the Prime Minister’s Official Residence.
 
The Prime Minister attended the opening session and delivered an opening speech, followed by video summit meetings with H.E. Mr. Macky Sall, President of the Republic of Senegal, H.E. Mr. Mohammad Younes Menfi, President of the Presidential Council of Libya, H.E. Mr. Majaliwa Kassim Majaliwa, Prime Minister of the United Republic of Tanzania, and H.E. Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, Prime Minister of the Arab Republic of Egypt respectively. The Prime Minister then attended the Business Forum and delivered a video message.
