REPORTER: I have a question regarding the Japan-U.S. summit telephone talk this morning. During the Prime Minister’s press occasion held afterwards, the Prime Minister expressed his view that the United States and North Korea would hold a dialogue with the premise of North Korea’s denuclearization. Does this mean that President Trump made clear to Prime Minister Abe during their talk that denuclearization is the precondition to hold a meeting?
 
CHIEF CABINET SECRETARY SUGA: As Prime Minister Abe stated, he conveyed to President Trump that he values North Korea’s change to seek dialogue accepting denuclearization as the prerequisite, and that North Korea still needs to show specific actions towards complete, verifiable, and irreversible denuclearization. That says it all.
