REPORTER: North Korea held a military parade. Following up on the question I asked at this morning’s press conference, could you please once again share with us the Government’s analysis regarding North Korea’s targets?

CHIEF CABINET SECRETARY SUGA: Firstly, we have been aware of such information. The Government constantly works to collect and analyze information with serious concern over North Korea’s military actions. Meanwhile, due to the nature of the matter, I would like to refrain from commenting on the details of the content and analyses of each information.

REPORTER: I have a question regarding your announcement this morning concerning the expert team that was dispatched to the area affected by the earthquake in Taiwan. Could you share with us the latest update since this morning’s announcement, such as how soon it is expected to begin its activities after its arrival?

CHIEF CABINET SECRETARY SUGA: As I stated during this morning’s press conference, we dispatched a team of seven experts to support the rescue operations. The expert team arrived in the affected site moments ago at 3:45 pm, and is scheduled to begin its search for missing persons and rescue operations momentarily. We hope that the activities of the expert team will contribute to the rescue of as many people as possible.
