REPORTER: I have a question regarding North Korea. The verbal exchange between the United States and North Korea is becoming more intense. The foreign minister of North Korea has even stated that the United States declared war, further heightening tensions. What is your view of the situation?

CHIEF CABINET SECRETARY SUGA: North Korea’s provocative words and actions constitute clear acts of provocation against the security of the region, including Japan, and the international community, and are totally unacceptable. North Korea must sincerely heed the calls of the international community and cease such words and actions.
