| Promotion Committee for the Privatization of the Four Highway-related Public Corporations is an organization establish by law to examine as a whole both new organizational modalities premised on the privatization replacing the Japan Highway Public Corporation, the Metropolitan Expressway Public Corporation, the Hanshin Expressway Public Corporation and the Honshu-Shinkoku Bridge Authority, and ways to ensure the economic viability, based on the "Reorganization and Rationalization Plan for Special Public Institution" (Cabinet Decision of December 19, 2001) |
