Establishment of the Headquarters for Promotion of the Cultivation of Youth | ||

1. | The Headquarters for Promotion of the Cultivation of Youth (hereinafter referred to as "the Headquarters") shall be established inside the Cabinet with the aim of ensuring close communication among the administrative agencies concerned and comprehensively and effectively advancing measures for the cultivation of youth who will lead the next generation. | |
2. | The Headquarters shall consist of the following members. The Chair may, however, request the attendance of non-members where necessary. | |

(Note) Deputy Chief Cabinet Secretaries (Parliamentary and Administrative) shall attend the meetings. | ||
3. | A Secretary shall be appointed within the Headquarters. The Secretary shall be a civil servant of one of the administrative agencies concerned and holding an appointment designated by the Chair. | |
4. | The administrative affairs of the Headquarters shall be handled by the Cabinet Office with the cooperation of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology, National Police Agency, Ministry of Justice, Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare and other administrative agencies concerned. | |
5. | Matters concerning the operation of the Headquarters and other necessary matters other than those stipulated in the preceding Paragraphs shall be determined by the Chair. |
