1. | Purpose of Establishment | |
In light of the various points raised through recent discussions, etc. on pension system reform that pertain to the operations of the Social Insurance Agency, the implementing agency of the pension system, the "Advisory Council on Review of Social Insurance Agency" (hereinafter referred to as "the Advisory Council") shall be convened with the participation of experts in the field to reexamine the premise under which the Social Insurance Agency exists. | ||

3. | Composition | |
(1) | The Advisory Council shall consist of the Chief Cabinet Secretary, Minister of Health, Labour and Welfare as well as the experts noted in the Annex, and the Chief Cabinet Secretary shall convene its meetings. | |
(2) | The Chief Cabinet Secretary shall request a chair from among the experts. | |
(3) | The Advisory Council may request the attendance of concerned parties other than the members where necessary. | |
4. | Other | |
The administrative affairs of the Advisory Council shall be handled by the Cabinet Secretariat with the cooperation of the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare. |
