Mr. Bill Gates Pays a Courtesy Call on Prime Minister Wednesday, June 29, 2005 JAPANESE Prime Minister Junichiro Koizumi received a courtesy call from Mr. Bill Gates, the Chairman of a major software manufacturer of the United States, who is said to be the wealthiest person in the world for 11 consecutive years, and held a meeting at the Prime Minister's Official Residence. At the beginning of the meeting, Prime Minister Koizumi pitched the question to Mr. Gates, "Do you ever wonder how to spend your money?" to which Mr. Gates responded, "There is much money to be spent on measures to tackle medical problems in the world."
