Prime Minister Meets with the President of Japan Highway Public Corporation Friday, November 21, 2003 Prime Minister Junichiro Koizumi received a visit by Mr. Takeshi Kondo, who was inaugurated as the President of Japan Highway Public Corporation on the 20th of this month, and held talks with him with the attendance of Mr. Nobuteru Ishihara, the Minister of Land, Infrastructure and Transport. After the meeting, President Kondo said, "I received a word of encouragement from Prime Minister Koizumi that he basically wanted to request the Corporation to proceed with composing the bill to advance reform based on the opinions of the Promotion Committee for the Privatization of the Four Highway-related Public Corporations and to do my best as he would fully support me."
