Attestation Ceremony of Senior Vice-Ministers and Appointment of Parliamentary Secretaries
Prime Minister Junichiro Koizumi attended the attestation ceremony of Senior Vice-Ministers of the Second Koizumi Cabinet at the Imperial Palace, and delivered the letters of appointment to the Parliamentary Secretaries at the Prime Minister's Official Residence. At the first meeting of the Second Koizumi Cabinet held on November 19, decision was taken on 22 Senior Vice-Ministers, including three newly appointed, for the Second Koizumi Cabinet. The attestation ceremony was held in the afternoon of November 20 at the Imperial Palace. Moreover, at the above meeting, decision was taken on 26 Parliamentary Secretaries, including two newly appointed, for the Second Koizumi Cabinet. Prime Minister Koizumi then delivered the letters of appointment to them in the evening of November 20.
