Prime Minister Visits the Tokyo Stock Exchange

Prime Minister Junichiro Koizumi visited the Tokyo Stock Exchange.

At the Tokyo Stock Exchange, Prime Minister Koizumi began by observing Arrows, the central facility of the Tokyo Stock Exchange, where he was given an explanation on the stock trading screen, after which he rang the formerly-used opening bell to mark his visit to the Exchange.

Prime Minister Koizumi then met with President of the Tokyo Stock Exchange Masaaki Tsuchida and during their talk, the Prime Minister indicated his recognition that there is a need for easy-to-understand tax reform in order to accelerate the flow from savings to investment.
