Call on Prime Minister Tuesday, March 26, 2002
Scouts awarded the Fuji Badge paid a courtesy call on Prime Minister Junichiro Koizumi at the Prime Minister's Official Residence.
The Fuji Badge is awarded by the Scout Association of Japan to Venture Scouts from 14 to 19 years of age with an exemplary record of Scout activities. On the day, 46 high school student Scouts from all over the country paid the courtesy call as representatives of the 151 Fuji Badge recipients of this year. Prime Minister Koizumi encouraged them to "make the most of the important experiences you have gained through your Scout activities once you become active members of society." |
