Prime Minister Gives Instructions to the Administrative Vice-Minister Level Meeting Monday, February 4, 2002 Prime Minister Junichiro Koizumi attended the Administrative Vice-Minister Level Meeting held at the Prime Minister's Official Residence. At the Meeting, Prime Minister Koizumi instructed the attendants to humbly reflect on the many criticisms voiced by the people, and to bear in mind their positions as the persons charged with the highest responsibility for their respective bureaucracies as they carefully judge whether or not requests they receive from members of both the ruling and opposition parties are appropriate from the perspective of their bureaucracies. Furthermore, the Prime Minister requested them to be vigilant in carrying out their duties in order to fulfill their responsibilities as the administrative organs of the nation.
