Affie Burnside, the 54th All-America Cherry Blossom Queen, and Yuki Kajiwara, the 18th Japan Cherry Blossom Queen, paid a courtesy call on Prime Minister Junichiro Koizumi in the Ministerial Office in the Diet Building. Miss Burnside is from Wisconsin and is a Navaho Native American.
The Prime Minister chatted congenially with the two Cherry Blossom Queens.
