Based on the discussion, the Prime Minister said, "I thank you today for summarizing the discussion made so far since May for redesigning and refortifying the strategy for new growth, resulting in the compilation of the principles of the strategy for the revitalization of Japan.
The principles comprise of five items: the strategy for innovative energy and environment, the strategy for preventing the hollowing-out of industries and for developing overseas markets, the strategy for strengthening bonds between countries, the strategy for revitalization of the agriculture, forestry, and fisheries, and the strategy for regional revitalization and the promotion of a society oriented toward growth and longevity. From now on, I would like to further concretize these principles and steadfastly proceed forward with the implementation of policies."
