Prime Minister Naoto Kan visited Chiba Prefecture to grasp the extent of damage due to soil liquefaction caused by the Great East Japan Earthquake.

After observing the disaster area in Narashino City, the Prime Minister received a briefing about the extent of damage from Mr. Eiji Suzuki, Governor of Chiba Prefecture, and others and then observed the disaster area in Urayasu City.
