Prime Minister Naoto Kan held a Ministerial Meeting on the Issue of Double Loans at the Diet building.

Discussion took place on the Policies on the Issue of Double Loans.

Based on the discussion, the Prime Minister said, "Based on the policies decided today, I ask for your further efforts to help people overcome the issue of double loans. Although the system is now created, it is far more important to see that it actually works.
With effective policies to address double loans being decided, it is my earnest request that they are implemented in an effective manner going forward."
