Prime Minister Naoto Kan held a joint meeting of the Council on the Promotion of "New Public Commons" and the Working Group on the Post-Earthquake Assistance Scheme at the Prime Minister's Office.
Discussion took place on the mechanism of the system and other aspects of the activities to assist people affected by the earthquake, among other activities, through the "New Public Commons."
