Prime Minister Naoto Kan attended the plenary session of the House of Representatives.

During the session, Mr. Yukio Edano, Chief Cabinet Secretary, explained the purpose of the Basic Act on Reconstruction from the Great East Japan Earthquake and the bill to amend the Cabinet Law and the Act for Establishment of the Cabinet Office, and the Prime Minister answered questions on the bill from each party and faction.
