Prime Minister Naoto Kan attended a meeting of the Budget Committee of the House of Representatives.

At the start of the meeting attended by relevant Cabinet members, the Prime Minister and the participants offered a silent prayer for those who lost their lives to the Great East Japan Earthquake. Then intensive discussion took place on matters related to the Great East Japan Earthquake, and the Prime Minister answered questions from Committee members.
