Prime Minister Naoto Kan attended a meeting of the Budget Committee of the House of Representatives.
After intensive discussion on the political stance of the Kan Cabinet, the Prime Minister answered closing questions from Committee members on the FY2011 budget. Then the Committee voted for the three bills of the FY2011 budget for the general account, special accounts, and government-affiliated agencies, which all passed.
