Prime Minister Naoto Kan held the third meeting of the Council for Intensive Discussion on Social Security Reform at the Prime Minister's Office.
During the meeting, a public hearing was held on social security reform with the newspaper publishers Mainichi Newspapers, Yomiuri Shimbun, Nihon Keizai Shimbun, and Sankei Shimbun.
