Prime Minister Naoto Kan held talks with Mr. Viktor Fedorovych Yanukovych, President of Ukraine, at the Prime Minister's Office.
After the meeting, the two leaders held a signing ceremony for the Joint Statement on Japan-Ukraine Global Partnership, and attended a signing ceremony for a bank loan contract.
