Prime Minister Naoto Kan visited Yamagata Prefecture, so as to grasp the situation of rice farmers and other people involved in rice production.
After observing rice paddy fields, low-temperature rice storage, a rice mill, and other facilities, the Prime Minister exchanged views with people involved in agriculture.
