Prime Minister Naoto Kan held talks with Ms. Sheikh Hasina, Prime Minister of the People's Republic of Bangladesh, at the Prime Minister's Office.
After the meeting, the two leaders attended a signing ceremony concerning the enhancement of a strong partnership towards peace and prosperity in the international community and the South Asian region.
