Prime Minister Naoto Kan attended a meeting of the Budget Committee of the House of Councillors.
During the meeting attended by relevant Cabinet members, intensive discussion took place on pending matters, and the Prime Minister answered questions from Committee members. After closing questions in the afternoon on the supplementary budget for FY2010 and other questions, the House voted for the supplementary budget.
