Prime Minister Naoto Kan held talks with Mr. José Luis Rodríguez Zapatero, Prime Minister of Spain, at the Prime Minister's Office.
After the meeting, the leaders attended the signing ceremony for the Exchange of Notes for the Entry into Force of the Japan-Spain Social Security Agreement and the Japan-Spain Science and Technology Cooperation Agreement, following which they held a joint press announcement.
