Prime Minister Naoto Kan visited Kyoto Prefecture and observed an employment support center within Kyoto City, Kyoto Job Park, as well as the Career Support Center at Kyoto University of Foreign Studies, in order to grasp the situation surrounding new graduates seeking employment.

At Kyoto Job Park, the Prime Minister observed a consultation booth and a seminar on handling interviews, following which he exchanged opinions with visitors and staff. At Kyoto University of Foreign Studies, the Prime Minister again exchanged opinions with prospective graduates, staff, and others.
