Prime Minister Naoto Kan attended a meeting of the Budget Committee of the House of Representatives.

During the meeting, which continued from the previous day, the Prime Minister answered basic questions from the Committee members on the Democratic Party of Japan's (DPJ) Manifesto, economic countermeasures, and other topics.
