Japan-Thailand Summit Meeting

Prime Minister Taro Aso held talks with Mr. Abhisit Vejjajiva, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Thailand, at the Prime Minister's Office.

Prime Minister Aso said, "I am delighted to welcome you and many of the members of your Cabinet to Japan, in the early stage of your administration. I believe our bilateral relationship is one of the most successful ones in Asia. I would like to further strengthen our bilateral relations and continue working together for the stability and development of the international community and the region."

Prime Minister Aso presented a commemorative pin badge to Prime Minister Abhisit, as a token of the Mekong-Japan Exchange Year celebrated this year.
