I am pleased to learn that today the H-IIA Launch Vehicle No. 11 (H-IIA F11) was successfully launched from Tanegashima Space Center (TNSC), placing in orbit the Engineering Test Satellite VIII Kiku No.8 (ETS-VIII).
I am truly delighted at Japan's steady progress in space development and utilization. I am determined to see that our space development efforts continue to result in accomplishments that reflect our position as a nation leading the way to space.
