All the members of the Abe Cabinet resigned on September 25, 2007.
At the Cabinet meeting, Prime Minister Shinzo Abe collected the letters of resignation by the Cabinet members and decided on the general resignation of the Cabinet. The Prime Minister then issued a statement on the general resignation of the Cabinet. Finally, Prime Minister Abe left the Prime Minister's Official Residence as the staff who had supported the Prime Minister bid him farewell.
