Prime Minister Shinzo Abe attended the filming of "Prime Minister Abe's Live Talk Kantei," a program which will be streamed over the government internet TV, in the Ministerial Reception Room of the Prime Minister's Official Residence.

This program was mentioned in the policy speech by Prime Minister Abe, who attaches the utmost importance to dialogue with the people of Japan. It is a talk program for Prime Minister Abe to express his thoughts on his initiative to build a new country as well as topics which are near and dear to the Prime Minister's Office directly to the people. This time, various locations in the Prime Minister's Official Residence were introduced in the program, such as the staircase on which the commemorative photograph was taken when the Cabinet was formed. In the program, Prime Minister Abe also introduced his staff.

The program is scheduled to be streamed over the government internet TV starting on Thursday, October 12, 2006.
