On March 6, 2021, the Prime Minister visited Fukushima Prefecture.
The Prime Minister visited the Ogawara district of Okuma Town, then visited Futaba Station in Futaba Town, and moved to Namie Town to offer flowers and a silent prayer at the Great East Japan Earthquake cenotaph.
In the afternoon, the Prime Minister visited the Fukushima Hydrogen Energy Research Field (FH2R), then held a meeting at Michinoeki Namie with those who had returned or relocated to the area. Lastly, the Prime Minister visited the Fukushima Robot Test Field in Minamisoma City. After the visit, the Prime Minister spoke to the press regarding the visit to Fukushima Prefecture and other matters.
