On September 14th, Kansai International Airport (KIX) restarted the operation of Runway-A as well as Terminal 1 South Wing. KIX plans to reopen Terminal 1 North Wing on September 21st.

West Japan Railway Company (JR West) and Nankai Electric Railway Corporation has resumed the railway services connecting Rinku Town Station to Kansai International Airport (KIX) on Tuesday, September 18.

[Information]
The Typhoon Jebi passed through Japan from September 4th to 5th. At Kansai International Airport, both domestic and international flights from/to the airport have partially resumed, and is making all efforts to resume full operation and service. As of September 14th, 34% of the domestic and international flights of Terminal 1 go into service, which is expected to be increased up to 50% by September 20th.
