On September 25, 2019 (local time), Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, who is visiting New York in the United States of America, held a meeting with H.E. Mr. Charles Michel, President-elect of the European Council (Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Belgium).
In the afternoon, the Prime Minister held a signing ceremony with the Honorable Donald Trump, President of the United States of America, and the two leaders then issued a Japan-U.S. Joint Statement. Afterwards the two leaders held a meeting.
Thereafter, the Prime Minister held a press conference.
