On July 1, 2019, Prime Minister Shinzo Abe held a press conference at the Prime Minister’s Office.
The Prime Minister said the following with regard to the U.S.-North Korea Summit Meeting,
“Japan has been supporting the U.S.-North Korea process since the U.S.-North Korea Summit Meeting held in Singapore. I hope that this latest summit meeting will lead to progress.”
