[Provisional Translation]

On May 26, 2019, Prime Minister Shinzo Abe played golf with the Honorable Donald J. Trump, President of the United States of America, who is paying a State Visit to Japan, at the Mobara Country Club. Mr. Aoki Isao, a professional golf player, joined them.

Prime Minister Abe and President Trump had breakfast and lunch at the clubhouse before and after playing golf.

Later, during a press conference at the Prime Minister’s Office, the Prime Minister said,

“Today, we enjoyed a wonderful round of golf, surrounded by beautiful greenery and in nice weather, although it was a little hot.

We also had a frank exchange of views in a cozy atmosphere.

Thank you.”
