On April 24, 2019 (local time), Prime Minister Shinzo Abe visited Bratislava, Slovakia and held a summit meeting with H.E. Mr. Mateusz Morawiecki, Prime Minister of the Republic of Poland.
 
On the following day, April 25 (local time), Prime Minister Abe held a summit meeting with H.E. Mr. Peter Pellegrini, Prime Minister of the Slovak Republic, followed by a joint press announcement.
 
He then held a photograph session, V4+Japan summit meeting, and joint press announcement with Prime Minister Pellegrini of Slovakia, H.E. Mr. Andrej Babiš, Prime Minister of the Czech Republic, Prime Minister Morawiecki of Poland, and H.E. Mr. Mihály Varga, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance of Hungary. Afterwards, Prime Minister Abe held a summit meeting with Prime Minister Babiš of the Czech Republic.
