On November 18, 2018 (local time), Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, who is visiting the Independent State of Papua New Guinea to attend the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) Economic Leaders’ Meeting, was welcomed by the Hon. Peter O'Neill, Prime Minister of the Independent State of Papua New Guinea.
Afterwards, Prime Minister Abe held a meeting with H.E. Dr. Sebastián Piñera Echenique, President of the Republic of Chile.
Prime Minister Abe then attended the APEC Economic Leaders’ Retreat, and attended the signing ceremony for the joint statement on The Papua New Guinea Electrification Partnership.
Finally, the Prime Minister held a meeting with The Right Honourable Justin Trudeau, Prime Minister of Canada.
