On June 15, 2018, Prime Minister Shinzo Abe attended the Ministerial Council on Child Abuse Prevention Measures at the Prime Minister’s Office.
During the meeting, discussions took place on measures to prevent child abuse and the investigation into the case of a death of a girl in Meguro City, Tokyo.
