Press Occasion on the Summit Telephone Talk with President Trump of the United States (North Korea’s Missile Launch)

On November 29, 2017, Prime Minister Shinzo Abe held a press occasion at the Prime Minister’s Office.
In regard to the Japan-U.S. Summit Telephone Talk with the Honorable Donald J. Trump, President of the United States of America, the Prime Minister said,
“President Trump and I have just held a Japan-U.S. Summit Telephone Talk, during which we had an exchange of opinions on North Korea’s missile launch this morning. Under the leadership of Japan and the U.S. with the cooperation of the international community, we agreed to increase the pressure on North Korea to the maximum extent possible. Under the robust Japan-U.S. Alliance, we will continue to respond to North Korea in a resolute manner, and exert our strength to change its policies.”
