Prime Minister Shinzo Abe held a press occasion at the Prime Minister's Office.

In regard to the Cabinet reshuffle, the Prime Minister said,

“Today marks a new start. I want to continue to humbly and carefully deliver results one by one.
A typhoon is also nearing Japan. The Cabinet will work as one to exert every effort for disaster prevention.”
