On May 27 (local time), Prime Minister Shinzo Abe visited Valletta in the Republic of Malta.
The Prime Minister offered a wreath at a memorial monument for Imperial Japanese Navy war dead. Afterwards, Prime Minister Abe attended a welcome ceremony, and then held talks and a joint press announcement with H.E. Dr. Joseph Muscat, Prime Minister of Malta.
