On September 20 (local time), Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, who is currently visiting New York in the United States, attended the Third Japan-Pacific Islands Leaders Meeting; the Leaders’ Summit on Refugees hosted by the Hon. Barack H. Obama, President of the United States of America ; and the HeForShe Reception.
In addition, the Prime Minister held meetings with the Rt. Hon. Theresa May, MP, Prime Minister of the United Kingdom ; H.E. Mr. Petro Poroshenko, President of Ukraine ; H.E. Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif, Prime Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan ; and H.E. Mr. Ban Ki-moon, Secretary-General of the United Nations .
