On April 1 (local time), Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, who is visiting Washington D.C. to attend the 4th Nuclear Security Summit, attended the Summit’s opening plenary on “National Actions to Enhance Nuclear Security .” Afterwards, Prime Minister Abe held a bilateral summit meeting with His Majesty King Abdullah II Ibn Al Hussein of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, and then attended a leaders' photo session.
In the afternoon, Prime Minister Abe held bilateral summit meetings individually with H.E. Mr. Mauricio Macri, President of the Argentine Republic , H.E. Mr. Nursultan Nazarbayev, President of the Republic of Kazakhstan , and H.E. Mr. Narendra Modi, Prime Minister of the Republic of India .
