On March 10, 2026, Prime Minister Takaichi held the 20th meeting of the Council for the Promotion of Policies for Crime Victims at the Prime Minister’s Office.
At the meeting, the participants engaged in discussions on the verification and evaluation of the implementation status of the measures to protect victimized children based on the draft of the Fifth Basic Plan for Crime Victims, etc. and the Act on Punishment of Activities Relating to Child Prostitution and Child Pornography, and the Protection of Children.
